The 2nd Eishockey-Bundesliga was till 2012/13 the name of the second tier of Ice hockey in Germany. It was since 2002 organised by the ESBG to which the leagueorganisation was outsoucerd from the DEB the German Ice Hockey Federation. In the 2012-13 season it featured 13 teams.
