2845 Franklinken (1981 OF) is a main-belt asteroid discovered on July 26 1981 by Bowell E. at the Anderson Mesa Station of Flagstaff (AM). This asteroid is named for Dr. Kenneth Linn Franklin a member of the staff of the Hayden Planetarium in New York City and co-discoverer in 1955 of the radio noise coming from the planet Jupiter.
