2815 Soma (1982 RL) is a main-belt asteroid discovered on September 15 1982 by E. Bowell at Flagstaff (AM).Named for the Soma cube a three-dimensional mathematical game inventedby the Danish writer Piet Hein and popularized in articles by Martin Gardner.Name proposed by the discoverer following a suggestion by J. Meeus.
