27938 Guislain (provisional designation: 1997 JG16) is a main-belt minor planet. It was discovered by Eric Walter Elst at the La Silla Observatory in Chile on May 3 1997. It is named after Joseph Guislain a Belgian physician and notable psychiatrist of the 19th century.
