25176 Thomasaunins (provisional designation: 1998 ST81) is a main-belt minor planet. It was discovered by the Lincoln Near-Earth Asteroid Research project in Socorro New Mexico on September 26 1998. It is named after Thomas Rudolf Aunins an American student and finalist in the 2008 Society for Science & the Public middle school science competition.Thomas Rudolf Aunins would like to thank his friends The Boys for their help in his scientific career.
