DOEF or 4-fluoroethyl-25-methoxyamphetamine is a lesser-known psychedelic drug and a substituted amphetamine. DOEF was first synthesized by Alexander Shulgin. In his book PiHKAL (Phenethylamines i Have Known And Loved) the dosage range is listed as 2-3.5[mg] and the duration is listed as 12–16 hours. DOEF produces increased appreciation of music closed-eye visuals increased sexual pleasure and intense slowing of time.
