24856 Messidoro (provisional designation: 1996 AA4) is a main-belt minor planet. It was discovered by Maura Tombelli and C. Casacci at the Asiago Astrophysical Observatory near Asiago Italy on January 15 1996. It is named after Piero Messidoro an Italian space engineer.
