2C-O or 245-Trimethoxyphenethylamine is a phenethylamine of the 2C family and was first synthesized by Jansen in 1931[citation needed]. It is a positional isomer of the drug mescaline (345-trimethoxy) and is structurally similar to the drug 2C-D.
