2426 Simonov (1976 KV) is a main-belt asteroid discovered on May 26 1976 by N. Chernykh at Nauchnyj.Photometric observations of this asteroid collected during 2004–2005 show a rotation period of 5.811 ± 0.002 hours with a brightness variation of 0.40 ± 0.03 magnitude.
