24105 Broughton (1999 VE10) is a main-belt asteroid discovered on November 9 1999 by C. W. Juels at Fountain Hills.Australian amateur astronomer John Broughton (b. 1952) received aShoemaker NEO grant in 2002 and accidentally discovered the PHA 2004 GA1using a 0.5-m telescope he had just recently completed. He has alsooriginated techniques for rigorous timing of minor-planet occultations fromCCD drift exposures.
