23880 Tongil (1998 SG5) is a main-belt asteroid discovered on September 18 1998 by Lee Tae-hyeong in Yeoncheon South Korea. It is the first minor planet found by a Korean astronomer. Tongil is a Korean word for unification and this name may imply Korean reunification.
