21697 Mascharak (1999 RW54) is a main-belt asteroid discovered on September 7 1999 by the Lincoln Laboratory Near-Earth Asteroid Research Team at Socorro. It was named after Smita Mascharak as part of a 2nd place grand prize at the Intel ISEF.
