21656 Knuth (1999 PX1) is a main-belt asteroid discovered on August 9 1999 by P. Pravec and P. Kušnirák at the Ondřejov Observatory. It is named after Donald Knuth a renowned computer scientist and mathematician Professor Emeritus at Stanford University.
