The 2016 CAF Champions League (also known as the 2016 Orange CAF Champions League for sponsorship reasons) will be the 52nd edition of Africa’s premier club football tournament organized by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) and the 20th edition under the current CAF Champions League format. The winner will qualify for the 2016 FIFA Club World Cup and earn the right to play in the 2017 CAF Super Cup.
