The 2014 season is Malmö FF’s 103rd in existence their 79th season in Allsvenskan and their 14th consecutive season in the league. They are competing in Allsvenskan Svenska Cupen and qualification for the UEFA Champions League. This is the first time since the 2005 season that the club plays consecutive seasons in European competition. The season began with the group stage of Svenska Cupen on 1 March league play started on 30 March and will last until 2 November.
