The 2013 D.C. United U-23 season will be the first season of competitive soccer for the club. The team will be playing in the Mid-Atlantic Division of the South Conference of the National Premier Soccer League which is one of two fourth-division soccer leagues in the United States. The squad part of the D.C. United Academy structure will be coached by former United player Jaime Moreno.
