The 2013 Chicago Slaughter season was the team’s seventh season as a football franchise and fourth in the Indoor Football League. One of just nine teams competing in the IFL for the 2013 season the Chicago Slaughter were members of the United Conference. Led by longtime head coach Steve Mongo McMichael the team played their home games at the Sears Centre in Hoffman Estates Illinois.The team earned a 9–5 regular season record but struggled financially.
