The Brownlow Medal is the most prestigious individual award in Australian rules football. The award was presented on Monday 23 September in the week before the 2013 AFL Grand Final. It was won by Gary Ablett from the Gold Coast his second Brownlow Medal overtaking Geelong captain Joel Selwood by one vote in the final round.
