The 2013-14 Michigan State Spartans represented Michigan State University in the 2013–14 college basketball season. The Spartans led by nineteenth year head coach Tom Izzo played their home games at the Breslin Center and were members of the Big Ten Conference. MSU started the preseason ranked #2 overall and after beating #1 Kentucky in their second game went on to hold the #1 spot for 3 weeks.
