The AZAL 2012-13 season is AZAL’s ninth Azerbaijan Premier League seasonm which they will participate in the 2013–14 Azerbaijan Premier League as well as the 2013–14 Azerbaijan Cup. AZAL started the season under the management of Vagif Sadygov but he was sacked on 16 March 2014 following their defeat to Neftchi Baku and replaced the following day by former Neftchi Assistant Tarlan Ahmadov.
