The 2012 Weber State Wildcats football team represented Weber State University in the 2012 NCAA Division I FCS football season. In December 2011 John L. Smith was hired to be the new head coach. That all changed on April 23 2012. On April 23 John L. Smith was offered a one-year contract to be the new head coach of the Arkansas Razorbacks so he left Weber State to take the position after being head coach for roughly 3 1/2 months.
