The 2012 Indiana State Sycamores football team represented Indiana State University in the 2012 NCAA Division I FCS football season. They were led by fifth year head coach Trent Miles and played their home games at Memorial Stadium. They are a member of the Missouri Valley Football Conference. They finished the season 7–4 5–3 in MVFC play to finish in a three way tie for third place. Head coach Trent Miles resigned at the end of the season to take the head coaching job at Georgia State.
