The 2012 Commonwealth of Independent States Cup was the 20th annual Commonwealth of Independent States Cup since its establishment in 1993. It was being hosted by the city of Saint Petersburg Russia from 9 January to 29 January 2012. This was the third time Saint Petersburg is the host while the rest editions of the tournament were held in Moscow Russia. For this edition of the tournament the format of the competition has changed dramatically.
