The 2012–13 Season is Portsmouth’s first season in League One. This is the first time that Portsmouth will play in the third tier of English football since the 1982–83 season. Portsmouth were relegated to League Two on 16 April 2013 following Oldham Athletic’s win over Yeovil Town.
