The 2012–13 New Mexico Lobos men’s basketball team represented the University of New Mexico as a member of the Mountain West Conference during the 2012–13 NCAA Division I men’s basketball season. The Lobos were coached by sixth-year head coach Steve Alford and played their home games at The Pit in Albuquerque New Mexico. They finish with a record of 29–6 overall and 13–3 in Mountain West play to win the Mountain West regular season championship.
