The 2012–13 Iowa Hawkeyes men’s basketball team represented the University of Iowa in the 2012–13 college basketball season. The team was led by 3rd year head coach Fran McCaffery and played their home games at Carver-Hawkeye Arena which has been their home since 1983. They were members of the Big Ten Conference.The team finished with a record of 25-13 9-9 in conference play and finished 6th in the Big Ten.
