The 2011–12 Stony Brook Seawolves men’s basketball team represented Stony Brook University in the 2011–12 NCAA Division I men’s basketball season. They were coached by seventh year head coach Steve Pikiell and played their home games at Pritchard Gymnasium. They are members of the America East Conference. The Seawolves were America East regular season champions but failed to win the America East Basketball Championship game for the second straight year.
