The 2010 Texas Longhorns football team (variously Texas UT the Longhorns or the ‘Horns) represented the University of Texas at Austin in the 2010 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The team was coached by Mack Brown who has a contract lasting through the 2016 season. The Longhorns played their home games in Darrell K Royal – Texas Memorial Stadium and are members of the south division of the Big 12 Conference. Texas finished the season 5–7 2–6 in Big 12 play.
