2010 GA6 is a near-Earth asteroid discovered by the Catalina Sky Survey on April 5 2010 four days before a close approach to Earth. It is a relatively small space rock about 22 meters (72 ft) wide. With a 1-day observation arc the asteroid had a 1 in 6 million chance of impacting in 2074. It was removed from the Sentry Risk Table on April 8 2010. The asteroid passed Earth at a distance of about 0.0029 AU (430000 km; 270000 mi) at 02:07 UT on April 9 2010 (7:06 pm EST on April 8).
