The 2010 D.C. United season was the club’s 16th year of existence as well as their 15th season in Major League Soccer and their 15th consecutive season in the top flight of American soccer. After three seasons with Tom Soehn Soehn resigned from duty on mutual agreement and became the Athletic Director for the Vancouver Whitecaps FC.
