The 2009 LPGA Championship was played at Bulle Rock Golf Course in Havre de Grace Maryland from June 11–14 2009. This was the 55th edition of the LPGA Championship the second of four major championships on the LPGA Tour.The champion was tour rookie Anna Nordqvist age 22 with a 273 (–15) to win by four strokes over Lindsey Wright. It was Nordqvist’s first career win on the LPGA Tour.
