The 2009 season for Atlético Nacional is their 61st season in the Primera A. The season highlights include the signing of new international players and the new manager Luis Fernando Suárez who won a championship with Atl. Nacional in 1999. Adidas replaced replaced marathon as the kit-manufacturer; this will increase the team’s worldwide exposure. This season they will only participate in Torneo Apertura 2009 Torneo Finalización 2009 and Copa Colombia.
