The 2009–10 season was Stoke City’s second season in the Premier League and the 54th in the top tier of English football.Stoke were looking to build on last season’s success and establish themselves as a Premier League club. And that’s what they achieved finishing in 11th with 47 points. There were some decent victories throughout the campaign with the most memorable being a 1–0 victory away at Tottenham Hotspur in October.
