The 2008 US Open was a tennis tournament played on outdoor hard courts. It was the 128th edition of the US Open and the fourth and final Grand Slam event of the year. It took place at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing Meadows New York City United States from August 25 through September 8 2008.The men’s defending champion Roger Federer won the US Open for a fifth consecutive time.
