The 2008 Savannah State Tigers football team competed in American football on behalf of the Savannah State University. The Tigers were members of the NCAA Division I-AA as an independent. This was the first season under the guidance of head coach Robert Robby Wells.The Tigers entered the 2008 season seeking its first winning season since joining Division I-AA in 2000 but compiled a 5–7 record.
