The 2008 Canadian Grand Prix (formally the XLV Grand Prix du Canada) was a Formula One motor race held on June 8 2008 at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve Montreal Canada. It was the 7th race of the 2008 Formula One season. The race contested over 70 laps was won by Robert Kubica for the BMW Sauber team after starting from second position. Nick Heidfeld finished second in a BMW Sauber car with David Coulthard third in a Red Bull.
