The 2008 Boise State Broncos football team represented Boise State University in the 2008 college football season. The Broncos played their home games at Bronco Stadium most famous for its blue artificial turf surface often referred to as the smurf-turf. The blue turf was new for the 2008 season as the old Astroplay surface was replaced by Field Turf.
