The 2007 Texas Tech Red Raiders football team represented Texas Tech University in the 2007 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The team was coached by Mike Leach. The Red Raiders played their home games at Jones AT&T Stadium in Lubbock Texas. The team competed in the Division I Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) formerly I-A.Entering the season the Red Raiders were predicted to finish fifth in the Big 12 South ahead of only the Baylor Bears.
