It was the 27th consecutive Bulgarian Cup final match after the competition was established in 1981 and 69th national cup final overall.The defending cup holders CSKA Sofia were eliminated at the quarter-final stage by Beroe Stara Zagora.The match was held on 24 May 2007 at the Beroe Stadium in Stara Zagora Bulgaria.
