2006 Polonskoya is main belt asteroid. It was discovered on 22 September 1973 by N. S. Chernykh and named after Elene Ivanovna Kazimirchak-Polonskaya a Russian astronomer. Polonskaya’s diameter is approximately 10 km.In 2005 it was claimed that lightcurve observations indicate that Polonskaya has a small moon about 3 km in diameter. The moon’s existence has not yet been confirmed.
