The 2005 Players Championship was a golf tournament on the PGA Tour contested from March 24–27 at TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach Florida. It was the 32nd Players Championship. 48-year-old Fred Funk became the tournament’s oldest winner with a one-stroke victory.
