The 2005 Australian Performance Car Championship was a CAMS sanctioned motor racing championship organised by GT Performance Racing Pty Ltd. It was the first championship to be contested under the Australian Performance Car Championship name with similar titles having been run in the two previous years as the Australian GT Performance Car Championship.Peter Floyd won the series by 39 points driving a HSV GTS. It was the first time a driver of a HSV had won the series.
