The 2004–05 season was Hereford United’s 8th season in the Conference National which saw them finish as runners-up for the second successive season behind Barnet. In a repeat of the previous season Hereford once again were eliminated in the semi-finals of the play-offs.The season saw Hereford compete in five separate cup competitions as well as the Conference and the play-offs.
