The 2001 Portland Beavers season was the first season after their return to Portland Oregon. The team was previously known as the Albuquerque Dukes. It was the 77th season overall for the Beavers in Portland. Managed by Rick Sweet the Beavers finished with a record of 71-73 good enough for third in the Pacific Coast League Pacific North Division. The Beavers played in newly renovated PGE Park after playing their first eight home games at Tri-Cities Stadium in Pasco Washington.
