The 2001 European Grand Prix (formally the XLV Warsteiner Grand Prix of Europe) was a Formula One motor race on June 24 2001 held at Nürburgring Nürburg Germany. It was the ninth race of the 2001 Formula One season. The race contested over 67 laps was won by Michael Schumacher driving for Ferrari after starting from pole position.
