The 2001 Canberra International was a women’s tennis tournament played on outdoor hard courts at the National Sports Club in Canberra in Australia and was part of Tier III of the 2001 WTA Tour. It was the inaugural edition of the tournament and ran from 7 through 13 January 2001. Justine Henin won the singles title.
