The 2001 Boise State Broncos football team represented Boise State University in the 2001 college football season. The Broncos competed in the Western Athletic Conference (WAC) and played their home games at Bronco Stadium in Boise Idaho. The Broncos were led by first-year head coach Dan Hawkins.The Broncos finished the season 8–4 and 6–2 in conference to finish second.
