The 2001 Austrian Grand Prix (formally the XXV Großer A1 Preis von Österreich) was a Formula One motor race held at A1-Ring on May 13 2001. It was the sixth round of the 2001 Formula One season. The race contested over 71 laps was won by David Coulthard driving for the McLaren team after starting from a seventh position start. Michael Schumacher driving for Ferrari finished second with Rubens Barrichello third in the other Ferrari.
