The 1995 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards originated from The Summit (home of the Houston Rockets) in Houston Texas live on Nickelodeon on Saturday May 20 1995 at 8:00 p.m. Eastern. Whitney Houston and DJ Rick Adams were hosts. Twenty-three million kids participated in the voting. Comedian and star of Hangin’ with Mr. Cooper Mark Curry was slimed. The opening titles for the show were produced by Primal Screen.
