The 1995 Grand National (known as the Martell Grand National for sponsorship reasons) was the 148th official renewal of the famous Grand National steeplechase that took place at Aintree near Liverpool England on 8 April 1995.The race was won in a time of nine minutes and 4.1 seconds and by a distance of seven lengths by Royal Athlete at 40/1 ridden by Irish rider Jason Titley.
